Restorative Dentistry

Returning the Brilliance to Your Teeth

Have your teeth seen better days? It’s time to restore your mouth to a healthy smile you can be proud of. If you’ve been afflicted with dental disease or decay, the restorative dental practices at Lowery Dental are just what you need to avoid serious complications. We offer comprehensive restorations that correct your dental problems and keep you smiling for years to come.

Eastanollee Dental Fillings

When you’ve got a case of decay, we’re prepared to tackle it. We use primarily composite fillings (amalgam only when absolutely necessary) to restore your tooth. Our composite filling material is strong and blends in with your natural enamel. It is the most common restoration in our office. Our process is quick, comfortable, and delivers lasting results.

Eastanollee Dental Inlays & Onlays Treatment

If your tooth has a large area of decay and is too damaged for a traditional filling, our dentists may recommend inlay or onlay restorations. Inlays and onlays actually strengthen the tooth, and don’t require the addition of a crown. An inlay covers the inside of the tooth, up to the cusps, while an onlay covers the cusps and sides of a tooth. Onlays are a more significant restoration, but severely damaged teeth can benefit from this option.

Eastanollee Crowns & Bridges Treatment

Crowns and bridges are options for patients who need a little extra help reinforcing and protecting a tooth. Crowns are caps that are custom made to fit over a fractured or damaged tooth, or one that has received root canal therapy, in order to strengthen and support the existing tooth. Crowns are made of porcelain and shaded to match your natural enamel.

Bridges are often used when there is a missing tooth between two healthy teeth. With a crown supporting each end of the bridge, a prosthetic tooth is created and anchored in place. A bridge is an excellent option for restoration when the surrounding teeth are in great condition.

Eastanollee Partials Dentures

Regardless of the reason for tooth loss, dentures and partials are an option for patients who want to regain a full set of teeth. Dentures are a complete set of porcelain or resin prosthetics that are custom created to fit your mouth perfectly.

If you have some healthy teeth remaining, you may opt for a partial, which can help keep your natural teeth from shifting. You’ll experience a better bite, improved speech, and greater functionality with your new set of teeth. Our team will ensure that your dentures fit perfectly before you leave the office.

Eastanollee Dental Implants

Dental implants are a great alternative to dentures or bridges, and provide a permanent solution for missing teeth. Implants use a metal post to act as the root of the missing tooth, and once placed, a customized crown is bonded to the post, giving you a natural looking smile that functions just like your real teeth. Our dentists are happy to restore your implants, and Dr. Vasco may even be able to place your implant. Contact us today to learn more.

Eastanollee Root Canal Treatment

When decay or infection reaches the pulp of the tooth, it can be extremely painful. Our goal is to help you keep as many of your natural teeth as possible. If the infection is not bad enough and your decayed tooth can be saved, our dentists recommend root canal therapy. We remove the affected dental pulp, and fill the tooth with a composite material. We perform many root canals in-house, and are happy to refer you to a specialist to protect your tooth, should you so require.

Eastanollee Oral Surgery

In the event that you need a tooth extraction, we do everything possible to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. We do minor extractions in-house, so the dentists you are familiar with are the only ones working on your mouth. For more advanced procedures, we are happy to refer you to a specially trained oral surgeon.

Eastanollee CEREC Treatment

Our office is equipped with CEREC (ceramic reconstruction) technology, which allows our dentists to complete same-day restorations. You can have crowns, veneers, inlays, or onlays made and placed in a single visit. The dentist will see you through the entire process, therefore having more control over your procedure. Using CEREC technology is just one of the many ways we serve our patients and offer them convenience and quality.
